How Coherence handles your data.
Last updated May 1, 2026
What we collect
Coherence collects two kinds of data: (1) workspace data you explicitly ingest, including interview transcripts, CRM records, support tickets, and signals from your connected tools, and (2) usage telemetry about how your team interacts with the product.
How we use it
Your workspace data is used to help your team investigate workstreams, surface evidence-backed recommendations, generate specs you explicitly request, and prepare handoff packages or coding-agent prompt artifacts when you request them. We do not train models on your data. We do not sell your workspace data. LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) process requests on your behalf under provider terms and configured retention controls where available.
Data residency
Production data is stored in U.S.-region Supabase / Postgres instances. Enterprise customers can request EU residency as part of a platform contract.
Deletion and export
You can export or delete your workspace at any time from Settings. Workspace deletion removes signals, evidence, workstreams, recommendations, handoff packages, prompt artifacts, and outcomes from active systems, subject to required backup, security, and legal-retention windows.
